am writing this to warn others after my experience at this food truck ordered the chicken intestines, which had a distinctly bitter, off-taste. Within 24 hours of consuming this, I became severely ill with food poisoning that required an emergency room visit. I am sharing this so that other customers can be aware and hopefully avoid the same experience.
I grew up in the Philippines and the food at Lasa was on par to authentic filipino food it was delicious and very affordable. Come check these guys out and you won't be disappointed!
I saw that their food truck was going to be at the Tiki Bar at Doctors Lake Marina and when I told my husband about it we both decided we had to go try it out. My husband is from the Phillipines and I've loved Filipino cuisine ever since I first tried it while traveling around the Phillipines. They did NOT dissapoint! Oh wow, oh wow – this is my first experience of Philippine food and I am In Love!! I got the BBQ chicken(L4) and my partner got the pork sisiq(L3) — I will be 'stalking' this truck to keep getting food whenever I can! I'm not even kidding here, it was pretty quick and SOOOO DELICIOUS I don't know how to explain how amazingly delicious it was. Oh wow, oh wow. You gotta try these guys, cause it will be so well worth your $$!
