This is a great class with lots of information. Hector does a great job showing examples and explaining things before letting you try. He then checks your pictures and offers advice on how to correct any errors. After the full day class I felt confident with my camera and also excited to take future pictures. Also his discussion on equipment has made me excited to buy more lenses and try different types of photography! It's worth every dollar!!
This was my first class for photography. I tried to learn as much as I could from YouTube videos, but nothing compares to the knowledge I obtained during this class. Hector takes time to explain in details with examples, you practice right there and then and you understand what he explains. This is the best investment I made ( all those online classes may be good, but nothing compares to one on one class). The Get Out of Auto Mode Workshop with Hector is amazing. I went in with no knowledge of how to use my camera. Hector made everyone feel comfortable and gave us a ton of knowledge as well as a full day of hands on learning. I left with more than enough information to practice on using full manual mode. I am a long time photographer- strictly in auto mode. Very excited with Hector's class. I came away with a knowledge of how to use all the buttons and functions on the camera, outside of auto. I am excited to apply everything I learned to get that perfect lighting & effect.
This was such a great class! Hector was an amazing teacher and he imparted a wealth of knowledge from his 20 years of experience. I learned so much from the class about my camera. If you are looking to take your photography skills out of the beginner mode you need to take this class! Highly highly recommend!!!
