Great Mexican food, good service, pleasant atmosphere. BUT, if you're ordering takeout, assume your chips will come from the stale leftovers. Always fresh in the restaurant, always stale for takeout.
The food was not the best at all. This was the third time I had gone within 2 years, out of convenience being next to movie theater. And all three times the food that I ordered wasn’t good compared the other restaurants in town. The chicken nachos were dry as you know what. The little amount of cheese dip on it definitely didn’t help whet the palate. Then they either stuck it under a broiler or a heat lamp, made the chicken even drier. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures. So a half finished Margarita is all I have to share. This may have just topped out as our favorite local Mexican place! The salsa was delicious and sufficiently spicy. The chimichangas tasted like fresh shredded chicken unlike some of the other with a canned chicken taste. The Carne Asada is the best one in town. We are from Arizona and have been hunting for something closer to what we are used to and this came very close!
