The pool reopened & hopefully it remains open. NMSU pools maybe a good standby to use if needed. Glad to see short course flags finally in place! Next project is to move the bulk head in a better place to get the lane lines straightened out & use more lanes. A simple fix right! This is a work in process 🤷♂️. Currently winter, coming into March 2025 ~ afternoon pool is overrun with swimming clubs. Organized chaos swimming in the mornings is a better idea. Luckily I can use that opportunity!
Swim teams show up and occupy more lanes than they gave reserved, thereby lessening the number of lanes available to us non-swim team swimmers. Lifeguards and front desk personnel don't seem interested in enforcing lane occupancy restrictions. The schedule board is rarely updated, so it is not possible to discern which organization has which lanes reserved. Mr. Celaya, please help.
