Tucked in a tiny little house in San Antonio, first-time customers drop their jaws at the sight of our wall-to-wall fabric selection. Francine and Toni brought their business to life by 1981. We've since expanded our team but kept the vibes of our store intimate -- as a result, some of our employees have been with us for three decades! We'll greet you from the moment you enter and guide you through our array of authentic, historic, and rare textiles. Together, we'll see to it that you successfully tackle your dream project.

Great shop with lots to see. The 2 ladies were lovely. I walked over 2klms to get there and as soon as I walked in the door they were offering me cold water. Then gave me a bottle to take with me when I left.
First time to visit could have spent the day!! Everyone was so helpful and nice. The fabric and the unique gifts. Will be back !!

I have been to Las Colchas many, many times over the years and purchased beautiful fabrics, wonderful wools, patterns, books, ribbons, velvets, needleworks, threads, etc. I live in Ft Worth & always made a beeline to Las Colchas! Francine, Toni & staff have always been so welcoming! Exciting and new things to always entice you as well as classes to learn things! It's truly the only Quilt shop I ever visited there where you feel like your old friends...which we are!

Very helpful staff and beautiful place! They have hand embroidery stuff that I was looking for and fabric that I wasn't looking for but purchased anyway!!
