El Rito Sep 10, 2025...Went in because a filling fell out, and the pain was unbearable. The girl in the front was rude with a bad attitude just walking in at 7:30 when the open time says 7:00 online. Told me they dont take walkins BECAUSE they are short staffed. I then asked how they do it when there is an emergency. She proceeded to ask what my pain level was. I did have some issues with billing but finally got it all worked out and charged to my insurance. They had tried sending me a bill a year after my first appointment but finally acknowledged that it was in error. The dentist I saw originally isn't there anymore so I'm signed up for a new dentist this time. Overall they are very nice and seem competent.
No bueno. 2 months to get in, Rude, shaky handed dentist Larragoite couldn't even do a filling. Wouldn't even look at my other dental issues. "One at a time" he said. Sent me to Albuquerque. at least the drive to El Rito is beautiful.
Many years ago I went here and it was outstanding. BUT NOW FORGET IT ! The dentist took all but 5 minutes to look in my mouth for an infected tooth. Then gave me a referral for a root canal commenting that I had the other side to chew on. WELL WRONG he did not even notice the other side was vacant of chewing molars already. The move to El Rito from Ojo Caliente is not only in the middle of nowhere and difficult to find but it seems the quality plummeted as if no one will notice that as well.I will never return it was horribl... read more
