I took my truck here to have the valve cover replaced. They called me after looking at it and said the problem was the vacuum pump, and for $75, they'd clean it up and get video of the problem so I could take it back to the shop that replaced the pump. The problem turned out to be the valve cover, and I paid $75 to find out something I already knew. The kicker is that the $75 doesn't go towards the repair, and the price for the repair is similar to other shops at $1225. Edit to add: I did agree to the $75 with the assumption... read more
