it breaks my heart how much lack of care or compassion they have for their animals. when I drive by on a miserable raining and cold day, only to see new calf's and mother's smashing their freezing bodies up against the metal warehouses just to keep warm it actually makes me sick! they don't even have a barn to stand in! No I do not recommend this place to anyone!
I AGREE WITH THE 2 NEGATIVE POSTS. Everytime I have been by Larson's I am sad to see the cruel conditions I see there animals are kept.
The way they treat their animals seems very inhumane. They are often sickly, without water on hot summer days, in overcrowded cages. I have complained several times about how they treat their chicks, ducks, chickens, etc., but they never change. I went by there a few days ago, and their Cornish game hens were almost bald from poor conditions, and were suffering in the heat. Larsen's has been our hay delivery & feed store for so many years now, probably 25!!?? I can't say enough about how wonderful Bob & Alice Larsen are and how they always seem to get the best hay & feed delivered to us whenever we need it!! I love you guys!! Larsen's Feeds is the best place to get your hay & grain. Hands down!!!! I need to order more hay from you!! I will be contacting you tomorrow.
