I couldn’t be happier with Larry.
I bought a bit of a fixer upper boat, 2 stroke outboard, and trailer at the end of June to take friends and family out on the lake. The motor ran when I got it, but not well. It also refused to go into gear. I love to tinker, but don’t have much experience with marine engines. Called Larry at 7pm on a Tuesday and dropped the boat/ motor off later that night. After winter layup outdrive was making bad noises turning left and right. Dropped boat at Larry’s about 5:00p… Messaging next morning by 7:00a showing removed outdrive and video of the problem. Gimbal bearing needed replacement, job completed within the day and picked up, running great by next day. I worked with Larry to store my boat. I find Larry to be highly principled, responsive, and diligent. I highly recommend. Edit: Larry also performs boat repairs. Larry has been wonderful in repairing a 1982 Mercury 50 HP outboard. His expertise exceeds that of the mechanic who refurbished/rebuilt the carburetors.
