I had a very disappointing experience with Larry’s Marine Service. I brought one boat in for a skeg repair and was told it would cost around $400 to $500. Later I was told it would be $1,200, and then the price changed again to $700. I also brought in another boat because I specifically told them it needed a new oil tank. Instead of replacing it, they diagnosed it as a fuel issue and said the tank was dirty because the boat had been sitting for a long time. Connected with Larry's Marine originally on suggestion from a friend. I had an issue with a gear lube oil leaking the more well known marina I had always worked with was being less than helpful. But once I called Larry, he took care of the issue right away. I decided to switch over for winterizing and storage. He also found a problem that previous folks had completely missed and got that fixed as well.
