Larry did a tune up and carb service on my old Mercury outboard. Very reasonable on price. Had my Crappie boat on the water the next day fishing.
Serviced several of my boats over the years and have always done a great job. Trust him too!
Kept boat for 3 weeks and supposedly replaced 2 injectors. It was running ok, but not great, when I took it in. Afterward you couldn't go above 10 mph without it backfiring like crazy and sputtering. Looking closer the flame arrestor had been replaced and apparently the old one had melted onto the air intake. No one has ever operated the boat except me and that did not happen with me. Good service affordable and the lady that runs the counter is super friendly and pretty
Called Larry told him I bought this boat at the action and I want him to check it and possibly fix it if needed. He sounded knowledgeable and as a small business owner few blocks from him, I wanted to support local business. Towed the boat direction to him (didn’t shope around as I was not looking for saving, just clean work). When I dropped it I told him that this is my first boat and how much I paid for it which is close to 10% of the actual value and I asked him few questions... he sounded rude but I assumed that’s how so... read more
