If you are considering the "genuine" nippon denso starter for you 94-02 cummins, stop here, don't continue, get something else or rebuild your factory one. Something has changed in these starters or I was sent the wrong one and these guys refuse to respond to address it. Since install it has been slow cranking even in the summer when it was put on. Checked all terminals and tested the batteries, even put 2 boost packs on the system. Today at 8* this starter with 2 full batteries and 2 boost packs just cannot turn the cummins... read more
Excellent experience!! Bought a brand new OEM Denso starter for my older truck (they are very hard to get) and it works amazing! The customer service is awesome too. Had a question about a nut size and they knew right away. If they don’t answer the phone, they call you back right away. I will DEFINITELY be purchasing more items from them as I need!
