Terrible diagnostic work at Laarys Auto; blamed "corrosion" and missed a failing alternator. I've been bringing my car to Laarys Auto since May, when they actually installed a brand-new battery for me. Fast forward to a month later, and my car went dead. They claimed there was "heavy corrosion" on the terminals, and charged me $200 to clean them and "charge the system," assuring me the alternator was fine and sending me on my way. I couldn’t have asked for a better mechanic. They fixed both my check engine light and traction control light, which required a new timing belt along with several other repairs. It was a complicated job, but the owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly.
