I'm only mentioning the next bit because I spent 9 years as a mechanic, and as a female, I'm used to certain professions trying to pull one over on me. The lady said to me when she was preparing my bill, "0W16 is almost twice as expensive being fully synthetic" - its not. She was implying my bill would quite high (it wasn't). At most it goes from $25/5 quarts (conventional 5w30) to $37/5 quarts. Of course they up charge, but their up charge was less than 50 cents a quart (absolutely normal for shops to do).
