Excellent care. Good bed side manner, I highly recommend her.
My GFR (non-African American) dropped below 60 in a short period of time. Dr. Corro tested me for IgG4 Related Disease (a rare disorder). A subsequent kidney biopsy confirmed the disease. IgG4 RD is sometimes mistaken for cancer. Thank you, Dr. Corro.
One star is too much. My doctor was not in call so she was assigned to me at the last minute. I almost died. My baby almost died. Long stay at ICU afterwards for my baby due to her never responding to the seriousness of the delivery due to my condition. Never saw her during delivery until very last minute. I had a long difficult delivery. My husband saw her several times at the nurses station browsing the web shopping while waiting for her. She has been great with me. I have some health concerns and she answers all my crazy questions. She is factual and to the point. She has operated on my mother also and she did a wonderful job and recovered perfectly.
Dr Gutierrez made me feel very comfortable for my postpartum follow up visit. She was bubbly in personality and it calmed me.
Has solved poblem other doctors failed to solve for three years.
I was really taken aback by how unprofessional she is. She proceeded to talk to me longer about her sons interest in baseball, and how he is trying to make the NMSU baseball team than my concerns about my health. I specially had my previous files sent over to be reviewed ahead of time, and once I got there, I was accused I never had them sent, indicating they were never reviewed. She made my concerns feel very unimportant. Seeing Castillo was pure desperation, I highly recommend going elsewhere.
Made an appointment and the receptionist tried to tell me I was a no call no show from the previous morning when I hadn’t called to make my appointment until 4:30pm the day before. Waited over 2 hours to be taken back. Nurse continued to get everything wrong when it had only been a year since my last visit (I.e. height). Dr. Castillo is extremely professional and I feel comfortable with her, but her staff needs a pep talk.
He is an excellent Dr. Also, the staff is awesome!!! There is never a wait.
