Dr. Stevens is an excellent doctor. He is very caring. He reviewed the surgery I went through and explained what was going to happen prior to the surgery. I like the way prior to the surgery he required me to follow certain procedures to limit the possibility of infection. It is now one week after the surgery and all is well.
Above and beyond compassion and the absolute best surgeon I have ever worked with over my 36 year career.

I saw Dr. Stevens and expressed concern about my hernia repair that he had performed.I had two tacks protruding from me and I had a ton of pain.He dismissed it as something like Multiple Sclerosis due to my symptoms.I explained that the symptoms mimic MS and the pain was due to my hernia mesh.He opted to see me again after my neurological issues were addressed by a neurologist to rule the possibility out.Why would I go back to such an obtuse person who couldn’t see the obvious.Dr Stevens, I thought is a General Surgeon, not ... read more
