We had a new home site and looked for someone that was aligned with our desire for utilizing only native plants, no grass and organic practices. Larkspur not only listened closely to what we wanted to achieve, they were genuinely excited to get to work on a design. We built a home on a 0.8 acre lot in Brunswick so we had a "clean slate". I wanted an all-native, no lawn landscape. Design was by First Light Wildlife Habitat and then Seana tweaked this for me. Then she and her crew did the installation. I really enjoyed working with Seana and her capable and pleasant crew and appreciated the fact that they did not use power equipment. Seana was always readily available to answer questions and give advice and the yard looks wonderful!
Seana and her crew completely transformed my gardens! We've been fighting a noxious weed (Bishop's weed) since we moved here, and Seana's recommendation was to smother it completely and start fresh. While it was a drastic move, it totally made sense. Her crew worked tirelessly and expertly to remove existing unhealthy plantings and to cover and mulch the gardens. Seana and her magnificent team are true artists, having transformed my exceedingly difficult space into the most gloriously welcoming landscape imaginable. Seana patiently listened to a seemingly unending list of everything I loved and wanted in the garden, then expertly guided the editing process to create a world of such rich variety and texture, vibrant color and scents; the happy birds, bees, and butterflies now have a splendid inner city habitat, and so do I!
