Every year for many years now the most wonderful woman that I’ve ever known has taken me away from it all for my birthday weekend. It’s the best birthday present that I’ve ever received! This year’s surprise was rolling up the driveway at the WHITEHALL in Camden Maine. Just a few observations to write about. Their staff did everything to make my birthday memorable. The service was so attentive. All of our interactions were positive. Yes, we had a problem with something non functioning in our room, but it was addressed quickly and professionally. Now we are going to look at other Lark hotels to stay in. Chain hotels, feh!
