This is a great place to paddle board, canoe, kayak and hang out for the day. Non motorized waters that are calm and clear.
Perfect place to go kayaking for the first time... I've always wanted to try, so I took the plunge and rented a kayak from a local family business in town.. This lake/cove was beautiful, calm, and peaceful.. Only a few people in the water, most were on the banks.. Beach access for swimming, or just laying out..
Great place to canoe, kayak and swim. The day use area wasn’t busy and we had the place to ourselves most of the day. Great parking and access to the water. The little minnows at lakes edge nibbled on our toes, basically a natural fish spa. Sit super still with your feet in the water and the minnows will home in and start nibbling.
Water level too low to access for canoeing.
