I have been tattooing professionally in this town for ten years and have never seen a health inspector walk through our doors. It's only a matter of time until someone gets a disease or life threatening infection and it will be because the health department is non existent or refuses to inspect tattoo shops. It's embarrassing. The blatant health violations I have seen would make most people think twice about getting tattooed in this county. Please do your job.
Totally useless. Went 30 minutes before closing to get a birth certificate copy and they said, oh we are about to close, we can make an appointment for you next week. Huh? Print out a birth certificate before you close then. Every other review says it was that simple. These people are why government should be responsible for as little as possible. No accountability, no care.
My visit to the health department for removal of my IUD was nothing short of violating and traumatizing. The nurse of 50 years who performed my procedure does not understand basic communication and consent. Not once did she communicate her intent to touch me or enter me before, during or after. I caught covid. It was one of the easiest and harmless sickness I ever had. And no I did not get vaccinated. I just choose to live a healthy lifestyle and therefore do not succumb to sickness. Masks should not be mandatory it is like trying to keep a mosquito through a chain link fence. Especially cloth masks. Please follow the science and understand masks don’t save lives.
