If I could give this ‘zero,’. We were strolling the lovely street and shops of Wolfville, we entered this cute little shop, only to encounter one of the rudest retail experiences I’ve ever had. My rating is specifically for the staff member in the store when I visited a few days ago. She was unfriendly, abrupt, and seemingly uninterested in my questions about the products. She sounded like I needed to pay her to have my questions answered and I felt terribly uncomfortable being there. If I was not so keen on buying something I'd have told her exactly how unwelcome I felt and I'd have walked out of the store. Great place for your Japanese knife and cutting board needs. The products sold here are high quality, and you should never have to buy another board or knife again, unless you want to of course. They always seem to be having sales on something, so you can get some pretty good deals as well. The staff are very helpful and nice to chat with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to make some upgrades to their kitchen gear.

I won't be visiting here again, or should I say ever?? Yesterday (which is technically a statutory holiday, I get that part of it.), I happened to be in that area, after checking their Facebook page, as well as their website, and since most other businesses in the entire area were open, I thought that they'd be open too, though, with no website or Facebook statement / notification regarding a store closure, I do not very often go to that area, and I am not happy that they wasted my time by not at least putting some sort of a... read more
