The nurse assistant is absolutely sweet and amazing. Sadly the NP Lara does not come off as if she listens to her patients. I've done a lot of research and have a long family history with my conditions but she did not consider any of that in conjunction with facts I had restated multiple times. Mental health does not seem to be her strong suit regarding care, and it's hard to feel like she cares or regards her patients thoughts. This physician told my trans wife she should go to therapy for being trans. This woman is not queer a queer friendly provider in any capacity. We're switching providers. Disgusting.
I went to the walk-in clinic very frustrated and upset. I had a very poor experience with another hospital (against my better judgement) and had been sick for many days. Dr. Taylor actually listened to what was wrong with me and treated me for my medical issue. She is very caring and compassionate.
