Bit pricey, but well worth it The inside smells like waffle cones and the ice cream is seriously the best I've ever tasted. It is a little more than other shops, but you get what you pay for.

But the truth is that Mr & Mrs. Lappert are origianlly from Marin County. They retired to Hawaii. Missed good ice cream. Made their own. You know the rest.

And for some reason this Hawaiian ice cream company has two stores a block away from each other in Sausalito. So if you are anywhere near Sausalito and in the mood for ice cream, head to Lappert's.
