Big piece of fish! Was surprised to see such a large fish. Very good overall. Wish I had some vinager. I'm not a tarter sauce guy. Drinks were cans. Wish they had some Pepsi.
The Fish Market Restaurant in the ByWard Market is truly missed. For decades, it was an absolute staple in Ottawa for great seafood, clam chowder, and a wonderful, cozy maritime atmosphere. Sitting by the window, watching the hustle and bustle of the Market with a good meal, was always a treat. It's sad that it closed down permanently, but it leaves behind a lot of great memories.
Enjoyed the food and loved the milkshake.
