This once great restaurant overlooking the gulf has appeared to have lost their focus. The view is so good that they forgot about the food. The portions were more than generous but the chicken parm sandwich could not be chewed and the grouper sandwich gave off a fishy odor. It too was chewy. They also greatly diminished their signature blood Mary to a small, non distinct, Collin’s glass. Sorry, won’t go back until they reinvent.

A hotel to avoid !! Naples is a must-do but the hotel to avoid is indeed La Playa! Deplorable reception, room booked for almost a year but it’s not compliant, so they add an extra bed that arrives disgusting (4 hours later at more than 10PM, perfect for the night…), certainly it comes from the cellar or from the attic I have no idea but in any case super dirty and torn canvas. The hair dryer is ready to burn, the shower that only works halfway, no slippers in the room, no free water - and it’s supposed to be a 5-star hotel !... read more

Thought about taking one star away after they let themselves into our room when it had a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door to drop off a complimentary bottle of champagne. Thankfully we weren’t there 😳. Otherwise the room was mid. Nothing fancy. But the view was amazing and this property is in a great location. Love the pools and hot tub as well.
