bride I went to the lantern for my wedding and reception. Everything looked nice from the start, and then I signed paperwork. The coordinator became an absolute nightmare to work with. She called me a liar in front of my guests( regarding a misunderstand) which I feel should have been handled much differently. She was rude to my own children and guests. My experience with the Lantern was terrible and humiliating. In order to hire the Lantern you have to spend \$2000 or more on food. We felt that if we were spending our money then the service should have been great. The food was tasty but the service was very unprofessional. We had to pick up our table cloths and take them to the place where our function was being held and put them on the tables. They gave us trash bags and told us that we had to clean the tables off and put the table cloths in the trash bags before we left ... read more

Good Place for an Antique Show While I have never tried the caterers or the banquet services, I have been to two antique shows in the reception area of the Lantern on Ardmore. There is plenty of parking and tables can be set out in several of the rooms. There is an ante-room area where it is possible to stop foot traffic to take tickets. The only negative is if you allow smoking in the building, which is still legal in Fort Wayne, the air becomes quite stagnant and unbreathable.
