Be careful before you hand over your deposit. When I signed the contract, I was told verbally that I would need to review and approve the finance terms before anything went ahead. I was assured that if the terms didn’t work for me, the “subject to finance” condition in the contract would allow me to cancel. That gave me confidence to proceed.
