Impossible to get a hold of anyone if you need. My husband was told by the ER to contact this office and be seen as soon as possible for a kidney obstruction. We’ve called a few times and left voicemails with no luck of reaching anyone!
Dr Bartley would not stop my examination when I withdrew my consent due to her causing me extreme pain. Worst experience I have ever had with a Doctor.
Dr. Bennett is a good practitioner. However the nursing and reception staff in this clinic are all completely unprofessional and incompetent. I received 4 different conflicting versions of aftercare instructions from 4 different people. They very rarely answer their phones and if they do, they are unable to help but will promise to call you back and never do. I have been a patient of Dr. Bennett for many years, including before the practice became part of U of M Health. Since the transition, the overall patient experience has declined considerably. The office now feels more focused on billing than patient care. Patients are charged through insurance for basic portal messages, which discourages communication and makes it harder to ask important medical questions. The first 2 visits for my son we had no issues but for his 3rd follow up we sat in the waiting area for an hour and were never called back or told that Dr. Miller was running behind. I went to the check in counter to see what was going on as we watched multiple patients that came in after us get called back. After an hour we had to leave as I had to get back to work and my son was taking finals. Highly disappointed especially having to drive from the other side of town and gas is $5 a gallon only to never be seen.
