I have never had a more caring, kind Dr. before thank you for all you do Dr. Pernisie for myself, and my family, and thank you to the staff for putting up with me, and my kids when I come to the clinic on full Dad duty!
My experience with Dr. Wyatt Warawa was egregious, perhaps he has some personal biases to First Nation/ Metis people. Dr. Warawa created a racially stigmatized atmosphere within his practice. I am a Metis, single mother of four and full time post graduate student ( graduated from MacEwan 2019). However Dr Warawa would have never known any of that because he couldnt be bothered to treat me like a human being, instead he chose to insult my intelligence, stigmatize me and discard me within 2 min.
I went to this clinic as the website said they were accepting new patients at the time and I made an appointment with Dr. Roetteger. However I received a call a day or two before my appointment saying that they were not accepting new patients but that Dr. Roetteger would still see me for a hip pain issue I was having. He was very good at listening to me and he gave me requisitions for x-rays and ultrasound as well as lab tests. I was able to get a requisition for physio and will now pursue that treatment.
