Dr. Dokun is an excellent psychiatrist. He set concrete goals at the beginning of my treatment and together we achieved them almost exactly as he stated we would. He has a vast array of tools to teach his patients how to use. I never ended a session without learning something new and feeling like I had a taken a step in the right direction. One of the best decisions I have ever made was pursuing treatment with Dr. Dokun, cannot recommend highly enough.
Dr. Dokun was great at normalizing the experience of seeking care. I'd never seen a psychiatrist before and was just a bit nervous about what it would entail. But after the first session he then walked me through a series of options re: treatment so that we could come up with a plan that I felt really comfortable with.
Since 2016, I've been working with Dr. Dokun and I must say, I am better for it. I look forward to our sessions, to learn more about myself and how to process my emotions. My mental health is just as important as my physical health. I am thrilled I realized that fact. Everyone needs a therapists...they're essential!! Get you one!!!
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Dokun. He is easy to talk to, sincere and trustworthy. He really provided good insight and a great listening ear. I highly recommend him!
