The Lanikai Luau was absolutely incredible. It was part spiritual experience, part amazing talent show, and part one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. The music, dancing, storytelling, and connection to Hawaiian culture made it feel like so much more than just a show. And the food was phenomenal. Every part of the evening felt genuine, welcoming, and special. This ended up being one of the highlights of our entire Hawaii trip. 🌺🌴❤

This was the first time to the big island for our family and I'm glad we selected a luau that did not involve a ton of people and did not feel commercialized. Knowing our money was going to support keeping their traditions alive made it that much better. The intimate setting, learning about the history of the people and the island, the volunteers and family putting on the event and the food was absolutely amazing (poke and fish caught that morning). A bit pricey but I have to say worth it. It’s a dance Hula studio family owned and the instruction, performers, culture education, and food was all amazing! I’m glad I chose this luau over a hotel luau. Much more intimate and not overwhelming.
