I will NEVER EVER use this tow service again, my insurance called and set up pick up for a tow have them address they told me 60 minutes called me back and told me 90 minutes due to traffic then when I called back to check status of tow some man answered saying he didn't know what was going on and everything was all messed up told me it would be another 45 minutes!!!! Terrible Service – Oh my god, I will never use this company again! Allstate roadside called this company to have my car towed. What was supposed to be a 90min. pickup turned into a 4.5 hr. debacle. The lady at dispatch must have asked me the to and from address 5 times. It was like she was trying to remember the two addresses instead of writing them down. When she called me to let me know the driver had arrived to the first location and that they couldn't find the car that was because she sent him to the wrong address. (Sigh... read more

Great Service...did what they said they'd do – Unlike these other reviews, I had a great experience with Lang's in a very difficult situation. Stalled on the Dan Ryan and they sent a truck quickly, with a great driver (William), who towed us all the way down to Frankfort and then dropped us off at our office. It wasn't a cheap tow, but they helped us out of a tough spot.

Not Reliable – I was told the tow truck would be there in 1 hour 15 minutes at the latest. 2.5 hous later I am still waiting. I keep calling and they keep giving me another time. I am so disgudsted. I will never use them again

NOT DEPENDABLE!! – AARP contacted Lang's to tow my car. They gave me an arrival time and because I have limited mobility, I sent one of my students to wait with the car. 2 hours, 30 minutes and 4 phone calls later, they still hadn't arrived! I kept calling AARP, they kept calling Lang's and I kept getting longer wait times and excuses. "We'll be there in 20 minutes." "The driver got caught by a train." "There was bad traffic." WARNING: WARNING: WARNING: WARNING: WARNING: WARNING: – Every company has an idiot working for it but a good company owns up to its mistakes. Langs sent a driver that didn't know what he was doing. It took him 15mins to set my car up behind a flatbed tow truck. He towed it in park and damaged my car causing the need for my transmission to be replaced. The day manager was helpful but the owner, Charles Lang, never called back. Not even after several calls, several faxes, and a Better Buisness Bureau complaint. Nothing worked.... read more
