The Langer custom orthotics that I received are hard and uncomfortable. They do not properly fit my right heel. My podiatrist requested a refund from Langer and was refused. I requested a refund and was refused. Several reviews indicate issues with materials separating. The product Langer sold me is a stiff plastic shell covered with a layer of leather. If you have tenderness or discomfort with walking on hard surfaces, then consider a full-thickness foam orthotic made from a single material. Do not use Langer Biomechanics.
