We retained legal counsel after a GA homeowner ignored us after two days of work in her yard, removing trees and debris during Hurricane Helene cleanup. Mr. Hanna Black was referred to us by another contractor, and we ultimately prevailed. It's painful to see how slow the legal system can be, especially when the defendants fight you every step of the way, but attorney Black got us across the finish line with more than 90% of what we were attempting to collect on our own. Attorney Black helped us through a very lengthy battle related to contractor payments due from an insurance claim being "paid out", but not "paid for" by the homeowner. The defendant fought us each step of the way, but all paperwork was filed in great detail, and even mediation (of which I was never a fan) went very smoothly.
