YMCA was closed for 3 days recently, and during that time I tried out Fitness World, Anytime Fitness, and Planet Fitness. Honestly, those visits made me realize just how good the YMCA community really is. At the other gyms, there was almost zero cleaning or re-stacking etiquette. Machines were left sweaty, dumbbells were scattered everywhere, and getting hold of weights was a nightmare. Might be old and classic gym but principles ،being organized and clean always dragged me here .
Very basic facilities with minimal upkeep. The gym equipment is what I mainly used, the pool seems to have been forgotten about. The front desk staff were really helpful though.
Been a member for 22 years now seen lots of changes but I just wanted to say Bahar has been exceptional and has set the bar for great customer service Bahar was great but now changing to a one star facility is falling apart A shell of what it used to be 2010 was peak Langara Ymca
