I would not recommend Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary, Woodruff, SC. A funeral home should offer professionalism, compassion, and respectful guidance during an already difficult time. Unfortunately, recent experience reflected none of those qualities. The directors came across as rude, dismissive, and remarkably lacking in the professionalism one would expect from people entrusted with serving grieving children. My mother passed away in May of this year, 2025. It is now December 5th. On May 30, 2025 I paid for her cremains and a simple marker to be placed next to my fathers grave. I was initially told it would take 2-3 months to have the marker completed and placed. It is now over 6 months and still no marker. I have called multiple times, left messages, and an email requesting a response. None have been returned.
