Was in market for Yamaha Rmax4 side by side. Called around to local dealers and no stock or fair prices. Was ready to purchase out of state in PA or NH. Called Lanes and had a few options. New and low miles used. Called me when unit was traded in and visited store. This is how all Yamaha or powersport dealers in general should treat and taken care of customers. Good service and friendly staff
Lanes did a full rebuild on my engine, Crank, bearings, valves, the whole nine yards…what they failed to mention is the backwards install of Water pump and oil seals that resulted in top end engine failure on a motor that doesn’t even have 5hrs on it (4.89 to be exact) Lanes also refuses to own up to this mistake and claims I’m the one at fault…and will not cover the $2,000+ in damages…I paid them $5,132 for a bunch of work and I’m now left with this….

When I went in both salesmen were busy with other customers so I wandered around the showroom for about 15 minutes. Then I hung around the front and the salesmen were still busy but no one acknowledged that I was there like (I will be with you in a minute ) so I drove away vowing I would never go back. The next day I thought I would try again (because I wanted a new 4 wheeler) and so glad that I did . When I walked in I was greeted and about a half hour later I was the proud owner of a new Yamaha Kodiak 450.
