We stop every road trip we go on. Great food ! The pecan bread is amazing if used as french toast.

Fried chicken was great. Vegetables could have been cooked another minute or so to ensure they were hot thoroughly. Mashed potatoes were not hot at all. And they still forgot to put the butter in my potatoes. According to the menu, it reads, "buttered mashed potatoes". Also I'd like to make a suggestion that the cafe serve the potatoes without the peeling. Another suggestion would be to expand their menu.

A visit to this charming Southern gem will not disappoint! Full of tastes and smells to temp your senses. Leave with a basket full of remarkable wines, ( I found a Muscadine favorite Linda Wright and Theresa!!) hard ciders, flavorful ciders, roasted pecans, dressings, jams, an endless list to suit every fancy! Just treat yourself! And don't forget to sit a spell in one of their porch rockers! Southern Delights!

Family tradition states that one must stop for lunch and cobbler. It's always worth it. The food is great tasting and very reasonably priced.
