Every time we go to Georgia, we visit Lane Orchards to buy freshly picked peaches!! They are the best!! Their peach ice cream is excellent too!!

It was my first time there on Friday May 19, 2017. I saw a sign for it on 75 when i was heading back to FL adter a week long work training. Great half way pit stop for me. I had so much fun. Staff was very kind and helpful. I can't wait to bring my family there next year!
We always stop on our way back to Jacksonville for yummy hand pies, ice cream, and strawberry picking! Only problem was the blonde young woman in the strawberry picking shed who was dropping f bombs and other obscenities as my son and I went to pick. Not the usual!
It was fine except for the lunch meat..... As you all know I have been cooking since I was 13 and have cooked at a number of restaurants.... I had the special lunch (country fried steak with white gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes with dark brown gravy, roll and a coke... The steak I believe was a commercial grade frozen package that was deep fried and had little taste to it, I have used these before... the green beans were right out of a #10 can and were either overcooked or leftover from the day before, the mashed potato... read more
Great place to go-----eat lunch, lots of jellies, sauces, fruits and gifts to purchase, pick strawberries; get a double dip of peach ice cream, hurry to a big rocking chair on the outside and enjoy your ice cream while rocking. Then drive home safely.
