My girlfriend and I went just this afternoon and were excited; however, our experience was a complete let down. First off, it took almost one hour to receive our food after we later found out that the cashier lost our ticket. Then, our food was initially alright, certainly not worth $22 even more when I came to find out my chicken was ice cold in the middle. On the way out of the Cafe we look towards the wall to find a health rating of an unacceptable 74!?!?!? How it’s still up and running is beyond belief and we are both co... read more
I'll go back later in the year I'm sure but as of the first week in June, Lane's is not ready for the season. Peaches don't even smell like peaches, and I can buy them not tree-ripened in the grocery store for the same terrible prices, and Lane's can do the shipping. No peach fritters at 2 p.m.? Greasy fried green tomatoes? No "Hello" or "Thank You;" just "Next order" and "Would you like a receipt." Get it together, Duke.
This morning was our 2nd visit to the Peachtree Cafe. Food was awesome but very slow. We placed our order at 9:22am and it was 25 minutes before anything came out and then one of the meals was done incorrectly. The dining room was only 25-30% filled so it was not very busy. Great place and we will certainly be back, but hopefully with faster service next time.
for the 60 yrs. i know of, this is great ! go there a lot1
We stopped in for breakfast, really good food. The service was also good. If/when we come through here again we will diffently stop..
I love this place ! Especially the peach pies !! I can't wait for this year's crop !
We ate lunch, picked strawberries, they are so good, would like to go back and pick blueberries.
We went this past Saturday and a blast! Had a wonderful lunch and then picked some beautiful strawberries. Which were quite big might I add . We will be back for sure.
Well I have lived in Macon my whole life and have never been to Lane Farms. My daughter suggested we go pick strawberries Friday and I said why not. She said we could also get a bite to eat there. Well there were 4 adults and 2 children and we had an awesome time eating lunch which was great a a fun day of memories with my family picking strawberries! Great place to go for a fun day trip close to home!
