Three separate power outages within 36 hours. When I was finally able to get through to customer service, she was rude and said “yeah I don’t know what’s going on out there” when asked why so many outages. The weather isn’t even that bad right now.
Lane electric has to be the most dysfunctional utility providing company in the United States. Everything from shutting power off for “maintenance” reasons to fix there alleged sustainable power for multiple days to customer service is an absolute disaster. I strongly encourage some government intervention or audit to see what’s really going on with Lane Electric. I was a customer for over tens years and had nothing but problems. Don't go through this company worst place ever if you are behind less then $100 they will shut off your service and charge you about 400 to get it back on. I was behind one bill because I am low income and couldn't pay when my next bill wasn't even due yet there are Terrible and will steal your money
A horrible unprofessional company that talks down to, and thats if you can even get them on the phone! They aren't open on Fridays so good luck getting anything if its needed. The deposit they charge for new services? Yeah they base it off of the pervious occupants highest bill times 2!! Seriously what does the person who lived there before have to do with my electricity?! Easily the worst power company I've dealt with. They say the meter won't send reads to the station. So it's my responsibility to send pictures of the meter weekly. I'm never home and heat is always off. Yet I pay more then my gf in cg with a family of 5. I've asked them to look at the meter to make sure it's functioning properly only to be told its working fine. How do they know they haven't been here to look at it in years. They are horrible for customer service Def don't recommend. Unfortunately it's my only option here
