Our experience building a “custom” home with Sherwood was not a good one. Requests to use an egg shell paint and omit the base shoe on the trim were denied. The paint that was used was so poor quality it would rub off and show every single smudge/mark. Items blue tapped during the post closing walkthroughs were resolved by removing the tape and doing nothing else. Lived in a Lane home for 24 years. Also have worked in both the residential, commercial and industrial construction industry at a high level, with tools and now as a Senior Superintendent on 1/2 billion dollar projects for a combined 40 years. Maybe Lane has changed but my house is literally the poster child for low quality from foundation to finishes.
