Decided to drive down to Lands End for the sunday buffet.Nice selection of food and deserts. Had a very nice server. However, the ONLY selection on the buffet that was hot were the grits. What a waste: if you like your food hot forget the buffetGave it one star, should be a lower option

The worse meal we have ever had. We would have done better at Captain Ds. The waitress told us that we should order our seafood fried which should have been a clue to run. We ordered it grilled and it was aweful. It was so bad she got us another order of shrimp without us even asking. We ate on a Friday night and there were very few people there, another clue we failed to get. We ate there because of the other reviews and we were greatly disappointed.

My wife and I stopped overnight in Georgetown while travelling up the Carolina coast in Sept of 2008. We were referred to the restaurant by our hotel, and had an acceptable but unremarkable meal. The service was good, and the view and atmosphere were nice. For our meal, our appetizers, drinks, salads and hot rolls were very tasty, and the portions large. But our entrees (grilled flounder) was soft and soggy, not flaky and moist like grilled fish should be. This was very disappointing, leading us to believe that maybe fish is... read more

My family and I stopped by Lands End on our way to visit some friends in January. We were awe struck by the view, it was awesome and you dont have to be at a window seat to see it, even if you are vision impared. The young man and woman who were running the front of the restaurant were on the spot, they checked on us with every coarse of the meal and if our waitress ever let our drinks get low they were right there to fill them. When my prime rib came out it was over cooked, but they were more then happy to make me another o... read more

We stopped at this restaurant in April - during a trip to Myrtle Beach. Lands End seafood platter far surpassed any we had ever had ANYWHERE. The location was spectacular, service was friendly as could be, we just had a really really great time here. The gumbo was great, too. We will stop here at least once on every future trip we make to South Carolina. I cant see how anybody could possibly give this restaurant any less than a stellar review; it has become one of our favorites.
