This place is awesome! Love the midnight showings of classics and the staff is always friendly.

I always have such a good time here. The popcorn is delicious, the people are friendly and the selection of showings are awesome. A great break from your typical moviegoing experience. 🏼
I've always liked the Ken Theater, but I would like the theater to have a more cohesive sound system, in particular, the center dialogue channels. Sitting in the middle of the theater, I had trouble with dialogue intelligibility.
Went to see one of my all time favorite films tonight 7 samurai. A very special treat to see it at our favorite San Diego cinema " The Ken Cinema''. � Nick the Manager on duty this evening came in before the show to introduce the film, and how happy he was that the film was running at the Ken today. Nick's always been a very nice and accommodating manager to approach. He and his crew did a great job this evening making the experience all the more enjoyable. Thank you again! Greg & DeDe Main
I thought the seating was very comfortable and the clarity and volume of the movie was very good, considering it was a 40s film. My only small complain would be that it was a bit stuffy in the theater. The concession stand was fine also. Staff was nice. I would definitely come back again!
