We purchased our first new spec home from Landmark in Laurel area and we were very happy with the workmanship and follow up appointments which pursaded me to go again with them for another house in the southwest of Edmonton. IF there is 1 builder you should avoid 1 should be landmark homes.. we will be in our home 2 years this coming november 2026 but deficiencies from the turn over has not been completed.. not even our ROUGH Grade. They might reply on this post to email them but they do not reply. Can’t blame the trades people for the delay if their office knows how to follow up with these deficiencies and 1 yr and 8 months is already enough time for them to get things done.
Landmark Homes used our private property as an unauthorized dumping ground for heavy excavation clay without our knowledge or consent; clearly operating on a policy of asking for forgiveness rather than permission. Looking at other Google reviews, using neighbouring lots as unauthorized dirt storage appears to be a recurring pattern for them. I would give zero stars if I could. Bought brand new and advertised as “luxury and executive” with a higher pricetag. What I got was nothing but headaches so far. This home isn’t luxurious whatsoever. Since I’ve moved in I’ve had problems with practically every part of it. I’ve had less issues with homes I’ve paid half as much on.
