Building is beautiful atrium is unbelievable trees inside plants huge apartments all brand new people are friendly and easy to get along with, I'll add pictures later.
A very good choice for an apartment. The building is in the final phase (painting) of being totally renovated. They've done each apartment over as residents leave. Where else do you find a beautiful atrium with trees growing and wide inside corridors surrounding it like an amphitheater? It also has a new gym & a study-meeting room with a piano plus their own laundromat. The residents are friendly an quiet and you can walk to the T (Red Line), library, Dunkin Donuts and Braintree Square.
It is what it is, it was the old junior high school many years ago. Having visited the building when it was first remodeled and just recently, it is looking tired, I guess time takes its toll on all of us and the Boston winters can be rough. Shame, I wouldn't be so hard on Mr Man, Marilou unfortunately there is some truth in what he wrote.
This place would of been beautiful once. But that was a very very very long time ago. The management has failed in the up keep of this iconic building. Messina group are money grabbers who charge huge rents for little in return. From a distance it looks great. Get up close and you'll see the lack of care this property has received. If you don't head this warning then good luck in trying to get things fixed. The building coordinator will day they have no power. But are happy to pick up rent checks each week.
