Country Club of Landfall is the only private, gated golf and tennis community on the North Carolina coast. Begun in 1985, the member-owned club offers two clubhouses with approximately 45 golf holes designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, a tennis court and sports complex designed by tennis great Cliff Drysdale and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Definitely the premier gated community in Wilmington, this huge property is ideally located within minutes of the beach and Mayfair, Landfall, and Forum Shopping centers. The Country Club boasts two championship golf courses and the Drysdale Tennis Center, and a lovely non-demo I national chapel and lots of intriguing green spaces to explore. The staff is super helpful and friendly, and the homes, which range from 3000 square foot to enormous 10,000 square foot mansions, are well-built and immaculately landscaped.
We celebrated Thanksgicing yesterday at Country Club of Landfall and the food and atmosphere was acceptional in every way. From th fresh seafood to the beautiful pastries, it was fantastic. Alex took such good care of us! Lovely meal.
Had a fantastic visit at the Landfall Country Club this weekend for the Willie Stargell Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament. Looking forward to next year.
