We had a wonderful time in New Braunfels and one of the highlights was this river float event. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and the shuttle worked great. The only thing I would suggest for a group or family is bringing a rope with a quick disconnect (carabiner) or such to keep your group linked. With small kids it can be tough to manage multiple tubes as everyone floats at different speeds. When you get to the three “rapids” or slides, being able to disconnect quick would be ideal. Prices were reasonable, courteous staff. Helpful and most of all the shuttle takes you to the RV park site.
Landa Falls was a great choice for us first-timers. They had everything we needed and their website did a great job of telling us what to expect. They have 3 pick ups so you can adjust the time of each float if need be and float as many times as you want for the whole day. With a little paddling, we completed the full length of the whole float in 2 1/2 hours. But if we had just gone at the river's pace, it may have taken 3 as was stated on the website.
