Brought my recently purchased LX470 with 380k miles in to Tim to give it a once-over and let me know if there are any issues or areas of concern. He was able to get me in quickly, document all items that needed attention and discussed which ones were the most pressing and what could wait. Tim did the work quickly and I was able to get the LX back much sooner than I was anticipating. Highly recommend Tim!
Tim came highly recommended by other vintage Toyota owners and it was not a surprise: amazingly thorough work and explanations throughout the rebuilding of worn parts on my 1987 FJ60. Carb, Steering, Front End, Driveline, etc. Drives like new. Well worth the drive. Having an individual who fully understands the vehicle's needs as well as the customer's is a rare combination. Worth the wait! Tim is a trust LC guy that takes the extra steps to make sure everything is addressed, documented and discussed when taking care of my FJ60. Mine was rough, and he made it a reliable daily drive for my son. He was in constant communication with issues that came up and walked me through the options of moving forward. I've been on the hunt for a replacement sunroof glass for the better part of 2 years now. I contacted Tim at Landcruiser Specialties with little hope left before it got a tube of silicone. Not only was he quick to answer my questions, but he double checked that I cleared the gutter lines so I didn't overspend. Afterward, he sourced it and had it shipped within a couple of weeks.
