I saw this guy for 5 years as a teenager. All he did was talk to me about sports. And when I tried to talk about being bullied or having no friends he would say “oh wow, I’m sorry. I didn’t know that” and then would go silent for long stretches of time. He made me feel bad about bringing up tough subjects by doing this. My mental health got worse while seeing him and it’s like he either didn’t notice or didn’t care. It’s a shame really, I needed help and didn’t get it
