There’s nothing worse than coming across people who are in health care who act like they are inconvenienced by doing their job. Like there isn’t a whole world of opportunity to go into a career field where people’s livelihoods or wellbeing are not dependent on how someone feels about doing their job on a particular day. I understand all people have bad days, but there is no place for such interactions in healthcare.
This is a contractor VA location not an actual VA run location like the new one in Ventura. Staff have been nice and easy to get in for labs. So far in 1yr of getting assigned to this location I'm on my third primary provider, they keep leaving. If you submit any request by email through my healthy vet/VA,gov site they respond by the end of the same day or next day. I miss the newer VA clinic in Gilbert AZ that was the best ever in the VA. No issues so far here.
Do not go to this va clinic. The last I saw today 6/21/2024 around 12pm was not helpful at all and rude with an attitude. Worker seemed like she hates her job. Really wish Lancaster/ Palmdale had a quality VA clinic.
