Detached Retina in 2020 after having Covid. Immediately saw Dr. Gwally. Surgery next day. Just had my 6th year appointment. Everything looks great. Very Blessed. Every time I come to this office for appointments, I'm always here for over 2 hours past my appointment. I do understand that they have emergency patients, but I feel like something could be done. I walk past rooms and constantly see staff members just "chit chatting"and continuously laughing amongst one another. The restrooms across the hall are also in horrible shape, the smell is enough to make you nauseous.
Dr.Gewaily has been my retina specialist for the past two years, during which she performed two surgeries to treat floaters in my eyes. I have developed a deep trust in her care and expertise. She is an exceptionally professional and efficient physician, and above all, she treats her patients with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion. I was diagnosed with a retinal detachment Christmas Eve 2024 in Chambersburg. I was sent home to wait to see who would be able to perform surgery. Prayers were answered when Dr Bhuyan spoke to me personally that afternoon about what he saw on my retinal photos and what was happening.
